In this paper I will compare and contrast Buddhism and Christianity in respects of noesis and faith. Buddhism is a religion without an Absolute Creator or what Christians would pass on God. With that being said you could come to the argument that Buddhism deals with what is humanly get-at-able rather than something that is received once one has left this life, and with that you tucker come to the conclusion that Buddhism is ultimately about the quest for experience by trying to find the middle path and to excrete nirvana. We are shown this by Si ddhartha Gautama who found the middle path among intemperateness and self-mortification, and was then awakened and attained bodhi. It is when one becomes totally awake of the worlds true nature and is a Buddhistics ultimate goal in life. Bodhi can be achieved by personifying the octuple Path, which was set by by Gautama Buddha. The Eightfold Path is a sort of guidebook in how to live and can almost be compared to the Christians decade Commandments. Gautama Buddha however did not command that spate follow this path but that it was more of a recommendation. Buddhists uptake the Eightfold Path as a sort of route affair on the journey to Bodhi, whereas Christians were expected to follow the Ten Commandments scarce as if they were laws set forth by the government. Buddhists overly occupy the Sila which is the five precepts of do not kill, do not steal, do not lie, do not engage in inner misconduct, and do not consume inebriating substances.
