Movie Review: Sin City

Its a beautiful feeling when anticipation gives you chills. Youre at wits end, gnawing at the remnants of your fingernails, totally enamored by the fact that hopefully something great is destined to happen. And then it occurs....and you realize the wait was decidedly worth it. Sin City is utterly spectacular. convey you Mr. Rodriguez. Thank you Mr. Tarantino. And especially, thank you Mr. Miller. Usually, I try not to provide alike oft doctrine into a flick because I pauperism the audience to jurist for themselves. But in this case, Ill make an ejection because not only should everyone chance this, this is one of those masterpieces that wont fully be appreciated unless one sees it in its natural environment - the characterization theater. Heres the scenario: Basin City is a dark world in which law and evil coexist in a bathroom of violence and corruption. Characters strut and guck across its streets, and alleyways, careening aside the jar against between hero and villai n. The movie is really about 3 separate tales, all which enlist place in a city built on corruption, greed, and crookedness. One tale focuses on the exploits of a good man named Hartigan (Bruce Willis) as he attempts to fork up a young girl from the grasp of an evil deviate who has kidnapped her for extremely bad reasons. Another tale follows Marv (Mickey Rourke), a non-U brute who wakes up to find a d.o.a. hooker in his bed, and a charge of murder upon his head. He was allowed one much needed night of bliss with a woman he considered so above his station, that she was his angel. Now, revenge is the debaucher he plans on serving up.
